Hey there, I'm Kassie Kilpatrick, the proud owner of Looking Glass Hair Design. I was born and raised in Idaho. I embarked on my cosmetology adventure at Paul Mitchell the School Boise, a pivotal step that ignited my passion for hairstyling. Since starting my career behind the chair in 2009, I've honed my skills and embraced the world of hair with open arms. A licensed cosmetology instructor and a member of the Board of Cosmetology, I've dedicated myself to both my craft and my community. My pursuit of excellence has taken me far and wide. I've ventured to New York to train under the guidance of the esteemed Vivienne Mackinder, and I've frequented the vibrant city of Las Vegas for invaluable training sessions with top Paul Mitchell artists. A lover of all things color, I've also gained certification in multiple extension methods, allowing me to explore endless possibilities in hair design. Beyond the salon, I've built a rich life. Married to my high school sweetheart, together we've nurtured my dream of Looking Glass Hair Design. Our journey is enriched by our two talented and hardworking young adult children, McKenzie and Zack . Away from the salon, you'll find me sipping cool drinks on bike rides along the greenbelt, the warmth of campfires, unleashing my creativity through crafting, cherishing moments with friends, and making conversation with most everyone I come in contact with. An adventurous spirit, I also find joy in cruising on my Harley alongside my husband and indulging in tropical getaways.

Born and raised in the charming town of Twin Falls, Idaho, my journey in the beauty industry has been a lifelong adventure. From the moment I graduated in 1986, I've been immersed in the world of hair since . Following my education, I ventured to the sunny shores of California, where I had the privilege of enhancing my skills at the prestigious Vidal Sassoon Academy, training under the visionary himself, Vidal Sassoon. This invaluable experience shaped my expertise and laid the foundation for my career. With my newfound knowledge, I returned to Boise and began weaving my magic in the hair industry. Over the years, I've contributed my talents to multiple salons, soaking up wisdom from every corner and continuously evolving as a stylist. My passion lies in sharing my insights and learning from fellow stylists, a journey of growth that invigorates me. Whether it's sculpting the perfect haircut, crafting a breathtaking blowout, or captivating colors, I pour my heart into every creation. Creating a serene and comforting atmosphere for my clients is my priority. I believe that every appointment is an opportunity to provide not just a service, but a soothing experience that uplifts and rejuvenates. Beyond the salon, I find joy in the simple pleasures of life. I'm a culinary enthusiast, serenade the world with my singing, and unleash my energy on the dance floor. I bring a wealth of knowledge and expertise to every style transformation. Specializing in barbering, beard smithing, women/youth haircuts, perms, and vivid color, I thrive on turning creative visions into stunning realities. When I'm not wielding my shears, you'll find me exploring Idaho's natural wonders with my daughter, seeking inspiration in the beauty of the great outdoors. A true Idahoan at heart, I've embraced the spirit of this wild and scenic state as my own. Joining the Looking Glass Hair Design team fills me with excitement for the future growth, memories, and experiences that await. For Lindsay Lyon, working behind the chair has always been about much more than hair—it’s about connection, confidence, and helping each client feel like the very best version of themselves. A proud Meridian, Idaho, local, Lindsay has built her career through passion, creativity, and a genuine love for her clientele. She has co-owned and worked at The Electric Chair Salon in downtown Boise, where she created lasting relationships and helped countless clients look and feel their best. Now, Lindsay is excited to begin a new chapter at Looking Glass Hair Design in Boise, Idaho. This new opportunity brings fresh energy and inspiration while allowing her to continue doing what she loves most: creating beautiful hair and meaningful connections with the people who sit in her chair. Lindsay is incredibly grateful for the trust, loyalty, and encouragement of her clients. Their support has been a constant source of motivation throughout her journey and is what inspires her to keep learning, growing, and evolving as a cosmetologist. Hi, I’m Schlee! I’m a Boise native who has been creating beautiful hair since 2014. While I love all things hair, haircutting is truly my passion and specialty. I love creating cuts that not only look amazing when you leave the salon, but are easy to style and make you feel confident every day. As a mama of three young kiddos, I understand how valuable your time is—which is why I love helping my clients find a style that fits their lifestyle, personality, and maintenance level. When I’m not behind the chair, you can usually find me hiking, camping, traveling, or making memories with my family. If you’re looking for a stylist who genuinely loves what she does and wants you to leave feeling confident, refreshed, and excited about your hair, I’d love to meet you!

When I’m not at the salon, you can usually find me working out, traveling, or finding inspiration for my next fun nail set. My favorite service is Builder Gel because I love creating strong, beautiful, natural-looking nails, but I also offer Gel-X and acrylic! Whether you’re looking for something simple and classy or fun and creative, I’d love to bring your nail vision to life. I can’t wait to meet you and create some gorgeous nails together!
